• Install the properly drivers USB Drivers for your Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini to the PC, this thing is necessary to connect your Android device with the computer.

How to Install Official Android 4.1.2 XXAMD3 on Galaxy S3 Mini I8190

1. Download the official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean I8190XXAMD3 file and save it to your Pc.
2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
3. Download the ODIN v3.07 from the link, this app will help you to flash the Android 4.1.2 on your S3 Mini I8190 device.
4. Power off your S3 Mini I8190 smartphone.
5. Boot it into Download Mode; to do that press and keep holding the Volume Down+ Home buttons simultaneous, and in the same time press on the Power button until you will see displayed an Android logo together with a triangle. Now press Power button again and you’ll be into the Download Mode Menu.
6. Verify if you have the USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini installed on your PC.
7. Open the Odin app on your computer.
8. Now, connect your Android phone to your PC while your S3 Mini smartphone is in the Download Mode.
9. Now, just look on the ODIN interface and if the connection is successfully done you should to see the ID:COM zone is colored yellow and the COM port number is displayed. Sometimes this step can take a period of time until is completed.
10. Now, select the updating files that you have to install in your S3 Mini device, these files are in the folder where you extracted previously on the step 2.
    • Firstly, on ODIN click on ‘PDA’ button and from there select file that contains ‘CODE’ in its name.
    • Secondly, click on ‘Phone’ and select file that contain the ‘MODEM’ word in its name. If this file isn’t there, then you can skip this step.
    • Thirty, click on ‘CSC’ button and browse and select the file which contain ‘CSC’ in its name. If this file isn’t there you extracted the updating file on the step 2 Ignore this step.
    • Now, click on ‘PIT’ button and from there browse and select the .pit file. Also, Ignore this step if there is this file.
11. Important: In ODIN app make sure the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options are checked. Check the Re-Partition option, ONLY if you’ve selected a.PIT file in the above previously step.
12. Now, when you’re ready click on the Start button in ODIN app, to begin the updating process. Now wait a few minutes to complete ODIN the installation process.
13. When the installation process is done, your S3 Mini smartphone will restart.
14. When the home screen is displayed, disconnect your device.
